1.0 Definitions
In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:
- ‘The Company’ refers to People Results Ltd.
- ‘Corporate Training’ means training which is commissioned on behalf of an organisation
- ‘The Client’ refers to the organisation commissioning corporate training
- ‘Open Courses’ means training courses which are open to the public
- ‘Delegate’ means any person attending a training or coaching session
- ‘Site’ refers to the People Results Ltd web site
2.0 Use of this Site
- The presence on this site of a link or reference to a website operated by a third party does not imply any endorsement, recommendation of that third party or of any products or services advertised, or other information or content featured on that website.
- You may not link any site to this Site without the prior written consent of People Results Ltd.
- The Company reserves the right to alter, suspend or discontinue any aspect of this Site or the content or services available through it. Any new features on this Site shall be subject to the Terms.
- We may alter these Terms from time to time and post the new version on this Site, following which that version will apply immediately. You should therefore check these Terms regularly.
3.0 Copyright
- All the information, contents and text on the site are the property of People Results Ltd and may not be copied, reproduced, republished, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way without our express, advance, written consent.
- All trademarks used or referred to in this site are the property of their respective owners.
- All course literature and presentation material is copyrighted and may not be reproduced without permission.
4.0 Accommodation, Subsistence and Materials
- Corporate Training - The Client is responsible for ensuring that all equipment, accommodation and subsistence needed for delivery of the course is supplied in accordance with the course requirements. Handouts will be provided by People Results Ltd as appropriate.
- Open Courses - Course fees cover the cost of training materials, use of appropriate facilities, facilitators time, refreshments as agreed in advance and any room or equipment rental undertaken.
- Provision of travel, accommodation, other subsistence requirements and any other related expenses are the responsibility of the delegates or client.
5.0 Liability
- Persons attending an event do so at their own risk and on the strict understanding that The Company does not accept liability for personal injury or damage.
- The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage to the Client's property, howsoever caused. The Client shall indemnify The Company against all costs, charges, claims, expenses, demands and liabilities incurred by or made against The Company as a result of the negligence or wilful default of the Client or any of its guests.
- The Company will not be held responsible for the conduct of delegates or their guests
6.0 Terms of Payment
- Corporate Training - A deposit of 20% of the contract value is payable on award of a contract and the remaining fees will be invoiced upon completion; in the case of long term contracts the remaining fees will be invoiced in equal monthly instalments at the end of each month spanning the project. All events are subject to availability. If the Client alters the agreed event in any way e.g. by increasing the numbers of delegates, then the company has the right to increase prices. All invoices shall be paid within 21 days of receipt.
- Open Courses - Full payment for all courses is due 8 weeks in advance.
- Cheques should be made payable to People Results Ltd.
- All prices quoted are subject to VAT unless otherwise stated and will be charged at the rate in force at the time that the service is provided.
- The Company reserves the right to charge interest at the rate of 8% per annum above the normal NatWest Bank base rate per month, compounded monthly, on all overdue accounts.
7.0 Cancellations
- Corporate Training - The Company reserves the right to charge the following rates on cancellation when a mutually acceptable rescheduled date cannot be agreed between The Company and The Client:
• No charge for cancellations with more than 8 weeks notice
• 50% of the fee for cancellations between 4-8 weeks of booked dates
• 100% of the fee for cancellations within 4 weeks of booked dates
• A 20% deposit is non refundable - Open Courses - The following cancelation fees will apply:
• No charge for cancelations with more than 8 weeks notice
• 50% of the fee for cancellations between 4-8 weeks of dates booked
• 100% of the fee for cancellations within 4 weeks of dates booked
• 100% of the fee for non attendance - The Company reserves the right to cancel/reschedule training courses if necessary, in this event an alternative date will be offered or a refund will be made. In the event of cancellation or rescheduling The Company will not be liable for reimbursement of any travel or accommodation costs incurred by delegates.
- All events are subject to availability.
8.0 Transfers
- Open Courses - In the event that a delegate has to cancel a booking for a given date the delegate may transfer the booking to another course. For this the charges shown below apply:
No charge for transfers with more than 8 weeks notice
25% of the fee for transfers between 4-8 weeks of dates booked
50 % of the fee for transfers within 4 weeks of dates booked
9.0 General
- These terms and conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
